It may be half the size of the original JB, but the SJBJ-1 delivers the tone of this hugely successful humbucker. What's more, its pole pieces are adjustable, allowing it to more closely emulate the magnetic field of a full-size humbucker along with controlling the string-to-string balance. While its not quite as hot as a Duncan Hot Rails model, the high-end response of the JB Jr. SJBJ-1 more than makes up for it. If you play a Strat and you want to toss a Duncan JB humbucker in the neck, the JB Jr. SJBJ-1 is a total no-brainer.
