Seymour Duncan’s answer to those looking for the hot and overdriven sound of the 80’s hair metal craze was the Screamin Demon. An Alnico 5 bar magnet slightly overwound to provide a P.A.F. tone that has more growl and sizzle. The Screamin Demon uses a North coil constructed with shorter Allen head screws, and a South coil with pole pieces that create an open ended tone with extra sizzle to the top end, allowing your pick attack to scream through any level of distortion.
