The STR-3 Quarter Pound was designed by Seymour Duncan to be the highest ouput single-coil available for the Telecaster. Adding an aggressive warm fullness to enhance the lows and low mids while providing a responsive but balanced tone. The Quarter Pound uses larger Alnico 5 rod magnets and a slight overwind to give your tone a big boost in output.
