Up for sale is an older G&L Bass (Pre-2017) missing the serial number badge from the back of the headstock, We've put a new sticker serial number on the back of the headstock for selling and inventory purposes. Unfortunately, we do not have any other information on this bass. This one did cot come with a COA or build sheet. We are calling this one a G&L Build To Order M-2500 5 string in burgundy Metallic with Alnico Jazz pickups. This could have been a special order or could have been something G&L was trying. Unfortunately at this point we don't know. We also believe this one come equip with the M-spec 18v preamp, volume, pan, 3-band boost/cut EQ with center detents.

This bass does have finish flaws in the paint, there are a few dings as pictured, the nickel tuners are slightly oxidized, it is very light bass for being a 5 strings coming in a 7lb 9oz. We also replaced the missing back plates, the electronics have been play tested and working as they should. Will come with a G&L case that also has some flaws, dings and scratches.

This one is kind of a mystery but this is how it was brought back from G&L, it's a great playing bass, sounds fantastic, no paperwork but if you are looking for a awesome player this is a killer bass!
