Up for your consideration is a G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Z-3 in Sonic Blue finish. The electronics have been play tested and working as they should and it sounds fantastic. This ASAT Z-3 has an Alder body with a maple neck, 3-ply parchment pickguard with a Maple neck and fingerboard. It also features Leo designed MFD Z-Coil hum-cancelling pickups, 5-position pickup selector, volume, treble with push/pull enabling additional pickup combinations of neck+bridge or all three pickups together. It is in fantastic condition and will have the original Certificate of Authenticity and will ship with the bag/case as pictured in the listing.
When G&L closed its doors in October 2025, MIRC obtained the remaining inventory. This instrument is one of the final production models to come off the G&L line in Fullerton, California.
The G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Z-3 is an evolution of the ASAT platform, blending the classic single-cutaway body with the groundbreaking Z-Coil pickup technology from the Comanche. This guitar features three Magnetic Field Design (MFD) Z-Coil hum-cancelling pickups, delivering a bright, sparkling top end and a robust bottom end without any 60-cycle hum. Tonal versatility is maximized by a push/pull tone pot that functions as an expander switch, allowing access to unique pickup combinations like neck+bridge or all three pickups simultaneously. Built on an Alder body and a Hard-Rock Maple neck with a Modern Classic profile, the ASAT Z-3 maximizes sustain with Leo's Saddle-Lock bridge, making it an incredibly resonant and versatile instrument.
