Up for your consideration is a G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Special in Butterscotch Blonde finish. The electronics have been play tested and working as they should and it sounds fantastic. This ASAT Special has a Swamp Ash body with a maple fingerboard and features G&L designed jumbo G&L MFD single coils made in Fullerton, California. This also features a G&L Saddle-Lock with chrome-plated brass saddles and a single ply black pickguard. Beautiful condition and ready to enjoy, This one will have the original Certificate of Authenticity and will ship with the bag/case as pictured in the listing.

When G&L closed its doors in October 2025, MIRC obtained the remaining inventory.  This instrument is one of the final production models to come off the G&L line in Fullerton, California.

The G&L Fullerton Deluxe ASAT Special is considered by many to be Leo Fender's ultimate single-cutaway design, delivering unrivaled versatility and tone thanks to its distinct electronics. The guitar is defined by its two Jumbo Magnetic Field Design (MFD) single-coil pickups, which utilize a wide bobbin aperture to produce massive output, punchier low-end, and sparkling high-end offering a powerful sound often likened to a P-90 but with greater clarity. Built in the USA, this model features rear-contoured alder or swamp ash bodies, and a Hard-Rock Maple neck with a Modern Classic profile and 9.5-inch radius for effortless playability. The innovative Saddle-Lock bridge anchors the strings, transferring energy directly into the body end-grain for an incredibly resonant instrument, ensuring this ASAT Special serves up everything from twang to smooth jazz tones.
