Up for your consideration is a G&L ASAT Classic Prototype Electric Guitar in Mocha finish. The electronics have been play tested and working as they should and sound fantastic. This Prototype is a one of a kind that features a throw back to the original G&L 1979 headstock design with G&L locking tuners, with a slightly pre-aged looking natural maple neck. It also features Leo Fender designed MDF single-coil pickups, single ply black custom pick guard and the ASAT Classic bridge on a Swamp Ash chambered body. There are a few minor signs of play on this guitar, a few light surface scratches on the pickguard and a few few very small scratches on the back. This Prototype will include the original Certificate of Authenticity, but this guitar did not come to us with a gig bag or case.

When G&L closed its doors in October 2025, MIRC obtained the remaining inventory.  This instrument is one of the final production models to come off the G&L line in Fullerton, California.
