The G&L Tribute Series Comanche is a high-performance double-cutaway electric guitar that serves as Leo Fender’s final word on the traditional bolt-on design, blending modern power with professional versatility. The solid double-cutaway body is crafted from poplar, providing a balanced and resonant foundation. Its bolt-on hard-rock maple neck features a comfortable medium "C" profile with a 25.5" scale length, available with either a maple or rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo nickel frets.

Tonally, the Comanche is defined by its three Leo Fender-designed Magnetic Field Design (MFD) Z-Coil pickups, which deliver bright, hum-canceling sparkle with robust bottom-end energy. These pickups are controlled by G&L's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system and a push/pull expander switch on the treble pot, allowing for unique combinations like neck+bridge or all three pickups simultaneously. Hardware includes Leo Fender's Dual-Fulcrum vibrato for exceptional tuning stability, a 1 5/8" nut, and 18:1 ratio sealed-back tuners, ensuring rock-solid performance for the working musician.
