Up for sale is an Ortega Deep Series Medium Scale Solid Top Acoustic-Electric Bass finish. This one came to us in great shape and plays fantastic. The electronics have been play tested and are working as they should. This one may have some very light surface scratching, but it is in overall excellent condition. Case not included.

The Ortega Deep Series D538-4 is a 4-string acoustic-electric bass that maximizes acoustic output and amplified performance. The cutaway body features a solid spruce top, which contributes to a dynamic and resonant acoustic voice, complemented by mahogany back and sides, all treated with a natural open-pore satin finish. The mahogany neck has a smooth satin finish and includes a 2-way truss rod for precise setup stability.

A techwood fretboard hosts 22 frets, complementing the 32-inch (812mm) medium scale length, providing comfortable string tension and articulation. For enhanced stage sound, the bass is equipped with the Ortega MagusPro bass preamp/pickup system which features phase control, 3-band EQ, and a built-in tuner. Aesthetic detailing includes black ABS binding with black and white ABS purfling. The instrument is completed with chrome diecast tuning machines and a techwood bridge.
